Nancy L. Hogan
Nancy joined Fisher Law LLC as a seasoned legal secretary having 38 plus years of experience in the legal field. She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she earned her Associate Degree in a Legal Secretarial/Court Reporting Program from I.C.M. School of Business in Pittsburgh. After working for a Pittsburgh law firm for a few years, Nancy had the opportunity to move to San Diego, California. She lived in San Diego for 38 years, which is where she met her husband, Mike, and had and raised their two sons, Andy and Zach, while still working full-time in the legal field in San Diego. Nancy has vast and extensive legal experience in California, including supporting attorneys in corporate law, business and civil litigation, white collar crime and estate planning/elder law. When her two sons were young toddlers, Nancy owned her own legal/medical wordprocessing business, Hogan’s Wordprocessing, for five years so that she could stay at home with her sons while working from home. She then went back into a law office setting as her sons went into their grade school years.
Nancy and her husband moved from “sunny” San Diego to Boston in 2013 to be close to their two sons who attended college here and had then landed wonderful jobs in the Boston area, wanting to make their homes here in Massachusetts. She is ecstatic to be close to her sons and says, it is really an honor to share in their lives. Prior to joining Fisher Law LLC, Nancy was the Administrative Assistant for four years at a reform Jewish Temple in Brookline, MA, supporting the Rabbi, Associate Rabbi, Executive Director, Education Director and the community at large.
Nancy’s experience throughout the years has afforded her the skills and sensitivity of being an attentive, detail oriented, compassionate and effective member of the Fisher Law LLC team. Nancy brings with her experience but also the personal belief as to how important the practice of estate planning and elder law is and how we can make a difficult topic much easier to deal with for our clients and their loved ones.
On her time out of the office, Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband, their two sons, Andy and Zach, beautiful daughter-in-law, Liliana, and her two adorable rescue dogs. She is passionate about exercising and enjoys an active lifestyle. She is prouder of nothing more than her grown children and is overjoyed to share in their lives.
