Norwood Estate Planning Lawyer > Working With Us Getting Started

Getting Started

If you would like to schedule an appointment, please submit a form through the “Contact Us” page on our website.  You can also call the office or send us an email at info@bostestatelawyer.com

Your initial contact with our firm with be with our paralegal who will provide you with some information about what to expect from us, our process, typical timeline to complete matters, hours of operation.  More importantly, we would like to get to know you and your family and what brought you to us, the health issues of a loved one, special needs family member, getting the basics in place, or some business or estate tax planning.

We will then send you an email confirming your appointment and a link to where you can create an account to complete a questionnaire prior to our initial planning meeting, as well as upload or share existing estate planning documents for review.

Planning Meeting

Our planning meeting involves a 60-minute or 90-minute consultation, depending upon the practice area, where the attorney will review your questionnaire, confirm and clarify your objectives, explain relevant laws in an easy-to-understand format, and encourage you to ask follow-up questions so that you fully understand the recommended plan. This is a paid consultation. While many attorneys offer free consultations, these short meetings are only a chance to outline what prompted you to reach out to us and for us to confirm that we can assist you. Legal advice and answers to your questions are provided in the Planning Meeting.

We prioritize providing comprehensive consultations.  We want to sit down with you, listen to your unique circumstances and offer tailored legal solutions.  You will leave the consultation with a solid blueprint and overall plan of what services are to be provided.

You and your family deserve the attention and care that a paid consultation can provide.

Planning Meeting Fee

The Planning Meeting fee is a stand-alone fee that is waived if you hire us at the time of this consultation for a flat fee service. Fisher Law LLC generally charges fixed fees, especially for estate planning, elder law and special needs services, including MassHealth applications.
